Finally

some great news. Well hubby got a job and we just moved into our new place. We are in Tennessee now. We traded in the ocean for mountains..lol It has been a long wait but I think it was worth it. We are all happy and hopefully in the next few weeks, after we get situated in the new house I will be able to get back to designing. I will keep you updated.

Where do I start????

Well things in Indiana didn't pan out to well. My hubby got there and found out that they lost the dealership where he was going to work. So back to the drawing board. We decided to head back to Ohio and are now staying at my brother-in-laws house for a couple weeks to see if my hubby can find a job here. And it looks like I won't be doing any designing anytime soon. So enjoy what is here until I can get back to designing. I will keep you all updated. Talk to you soon.

It is official...

My hubby got the job and we will be moving to Indiana. Moving day is scheduled for this coming Thursday after I get off of work. We are actually going to Tennessee first and once we find a place in Indiana we will be heading there. My mom is excited, because we don't get to see each other much. So we will be making up for some lost time. We have been packing for the last couple of weeks so there is not much left to do. So I will be off line for a little while, or at least until I can get some internet at my mom's. Take care everyone, and wish us luck. Will talk to you soon!!!!

Update

I sooooooooooooooo need a vacation!!!!!!!!!! My baby turned 18 Saturday. My hubby got a job interview (he is there now). If he gets this job, we will be moving to Indiana. We (the boys and me) are still planning to go to my parents in Tennesse for a few months until we have some money saved up and as I said, if my hubby gets the job, then we will move to Indiana. I had 4 days off this past weekend, and spent the time cleaning, doing laundry and packing. I am sooooo tired. Today started off kinda crappy. I already knew I was going to be late getting to work because I had to take hubby to the airport. I hate being late to anything...almost to the point of having a full blown panic attack if I am late. So I was ok knowing that I would be atleast 1/2 hr late getting to work. No big deal. So the moring starts off....the hubby blasting into the bedroom, "Honey!!!! You forgot to set the alarm clock!!!". It was 6:30...meaning Ryan, our youngest has missed his bus. Ok no biggie we will take him to school on our way to the airport. Get up get ready for work, take Mike (our newly turned 18 yr old) to the bus stop and go back home. We finally leave the house at 9:30, get Ryan dropped off at school, start head to the airport (which by the way is an hour away) and my hubby yells, "Sh**!!!" I ask him what is wrong, now fully awake, and he says I forgot to claim my weeks for unemployment and it has to be done before 12. So guess what that means....we head back to the house. We get back home and it is almost 10:00 and the website is moving at a snails pace and finally we leave the house at 10:30. By this time I am freaking out because I had already called my boss and told him I would be at work no later than 10:30. Panic doesn't set in until we get into the car. I don't know how we did it but we made it to the airport in 45 min. And I made it to work at 11:30. I ended up getting the hic-ups and had them for the whole trip to the airport. Oh and on the way there, I called my Aunt, who was supposed to be on her way to my house, and who I spent the weekend cleaning my house for, and she tells me she won't be here until tomorrow. Which then added to my so called hic-uping panic attack. My hubby the whole time laughing at me. So now I am ready for a vacation. There is much more I could have told you about today, but I am going to spare all of you wonderful people the gory in between details that also didn't help with the onset of said panic attack. Besides the fact that I am tired and need to go to bed. But before I go I will tell you that as of April 30 I will be off line until I get internet set up at my parents. Hopefully it won't be for to long.

I've been a....

very busy girl this weekend. I have another treat for you. I just completed a new kit called "Sleepy Head". If you notice it kinda reminds you of a famous nursery rhyme, "Wynken, Blynken and Nod". Happy Easter

Tons of stuff going on still. Hubby is still job hunting and just had an interview this week down in Key West. We drove down and back in one day. I am still trying to recover....lol Anyways, I had the day off today for Good Friday and was able to get my Easter kit done. And I also have a little surprise....all my kits are going to be for free for now until after we figure out what we are going to be doing. So download while you can because after we find out what we are doing they will all become PTU kits. Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter.

Luck of the Irish

Well we still don't know if my hubby got the job or not. And it is wearing us pretty thin. I keep telling myself to keep the faith, but it is not working. It is really hard to see him so depressed. Hopefully we will find out tomorrow. He has had his interview which went really well, they had him go to their HR department last Tuesday and fill all kinds of paper work, but still nothing. He seems to think he didn't get it. But I can't see how they would make him go through all the trouble and expense to fill out paperwork for background check and such if they weren't going to hire him. Especially since they said they weren't going to interview anyone else. It is so frustrating not knowing what is going on. We feel like we are stuck in purgatory. I am afraid though that if he doesn't not get this job, we are going to have to move in with my parents for a while or with his dad. And that is just something we do not want to do. But money is very tight and we will be lucky to make rent next month. I just want to scream....but I won't. I will keep doing what I have been and that is keep a good outlook on things and keep reminding my hubby and myself that God will help us, get us through this. At least I pray so.

Everybody...

Keep your fingers, toes and whatever else you can cross, crossed. Three days after Christmas my hubby was laid off of work and it has only been me working. With the way the economy has been, it has been very difficult for him to find a job. Friday he got a phone call asking him to come to an interview on Saturday which went really well. I don't want to jinx it, but we are supposed to find out tomorrow. If he does get it, then we will be moving. I am excited, anxious, and nervous. We have been waiting for some good news for a long time. Also, this means if he gets this job, then I will be able to stay home and work on my scrapbooking more and get more stuff up to sell. So please say a prayer for us. In the mean time I do have a new kit ready for purchase and a freebie. I hope you enjoy them.
