Ok well I am now having issues with getting this current blog to accept my html codes for a 3 column blog. So it looks like I am going to be changing to an all new blog. So I guess once it is up I will leave a link on this on so you all will know where to go. I didn't know this was going to be such a pain in the butt. Keep checking back. Oh you will noticed that there are no links to anywhere....because when I tried to change the html it told me I had to get rid of my widgets and guess what....I had a major brain fart and said ok before I saved my link urls. So now I have to go find them all again.....Yeah Me!!!

Just Checking in...

I am re-doing everything. And when I say everything I mean everything. My blog, my freebies, my scrapbooking habits...everything. I am contemplating changing my site name, but I am not coming up with anything good. And why fix something if it is not broke...right? That will probably be the only thing that stays the same. But I am in need of a major change, I am kinda in a designers funk. I have been creating and I have made over 200 cu papers...and some other things. But I when I try to put a kit together I get nothing. I have been downloading a ton of kits from other sites and I have noticed that it is time to buy an EHD. Not only that but my DVD-rom drive has decided to quit working...and the only way to fix it is to format my computer. So I need that EHD really quickly. I was checking my folders and I have over 50 G's of just scrapbook kits that are from other designers. That is not including all of my kits, layouts and photos. So I told the hubby he was taking my shopping next week. Also I have plans to build myself a craft corner in my dining room. Well it will be more like a craft wall. Right now my tiny desk is in the living room and there is no room to do anything and it is very uncomfortable. I have other plans underway also, but I am keeping those secret, but I will tell you that I will be opening an ETSY account hopefully before the holidays, but if not it will definitely be around the beginning of the year. Also....I will be taking down what freebies are in here and revamping some of them. It will be over time, so if you still want something be sure to download it now before it is to late, because once they are gone they will be gone forever. And once I have every thing down, my 4shared site will be closed. I haven't decided if I want to stay with 4shared or not, I have be exploring some options. And all the new freebies will only be available for a short time. And I am changing my terms. Don't worry things are going to be great. Ok well I need to get some things done. I will keep you updated.

FOOTBALL!!!! Well we are getting geared up for the season to start. Mike is a Senior this year and is playing Running Back and Linebacker. They just got their pictures taken and I thought I would share. I can't believe my baby is almost done with high school. It makes me kinda sad. I actually cried on the boys first day watching them get on the bus. Ryan is a Freshman this year so I still have him for a few more years. But I am having a hard time coming to terms with the fact that my baby is either going in the Navy or if lucky enough to get a scholarship for Football, will be going to play college ball. But this year is going to be fun. I am sure I will be sharing tons about Mike's senior year. Ok I gotta make sure they are up. Bus will be here in 1/2 hr.

I was cleaning up my profile and adding a new picture and noticed that I have, been blogging for 4 years. Well at least that is what it says in my profile. For some reason that doesn't seem entirely right. Wow. 4 years. It has gone by sooooooooo fast. And that goes to show how bad of a blogger I am. There should be thousands of posts in here by now and nope, there's not. So I have decided that I am going to spruce up the place...again. I need a fresh look and new content. Not just scrappy designs and layouts. I haven't figured out what I am going to do yet but it will come to me...lol Hope everyone has a bright, sun shiny day!!!

Big Week

This is a big week in our little home. Mike and Ryan actually start school on Friday. Can you believe that? I can't...lol Mike is a Senior this year and Ryan a Freshman. They have been keeping momma very busy. Mike is our Football player and Ryan has taken up interest in Band, so between practices for both of them and getting them ready for the beginning of school, I am wore out. But I am also excited because this means I am going to have a ton of free time now to do more designing and making layouts. I feel really bad because I feel like I have been neglecting my wonderful followers. I appreciated you sticking with me through everything and I promise I will be sharing more here really soon.

New Hair Cut

Well I went and did it. I had about 20 inches of my hair cut off. You should have seen the pile of hair on the floor. And I didn't cry...lol Next week I am getting it colored. Something I haven't done in years. Hopefully then I won't see any more stray grays...lol The hubby seems to like it, which is a very good thing. Now if people would just quit thinking that I am my sons age, we would be good.

Smith County Owls Parent Performance 09

This year my youngest son Ryan has decided to participate in Band. He is in the drum line playing the bass drum. Today was the first parent performance. I have a couple of videos to share. They are not very good because I took them with my digital camera and not a video camera, hopefully I can get my hands on a video camera soon(I also have to video my oldest son Mike's football games). But still I think they did really well. We can wait to see them perform at half-time at their first game. This year they are honoring Stevie Wonder.
The first video they are playing Very Superstitious, the second is Don't you worry 'bout a thing, and the last video is the drumline playing Kadence. Enjoy!!!

some great news. Well hubby got a job and we just moved into our new place. We are in Tennessee now. We traded in the ocean for mountains..lol It has been a long wait but I think it was worth it. We are all happy and hopefully in the next few weeks, after we get situated in the new house I will be able to get back to designing. I will keep you updated.

Where do I start????

Well things in Indiana didn't pan out to well. My hubby got there and found out that they lost the dealership where he was going to work. So back to the drawing board. We decided to head back to Ohio and are now staying at my brother-in-laws house for a couple weeks to see if my hubby can find a job here. And it looks like I won't be doing any designing anytime soon. So enjoy what is here until I can get back to designing. I will keep you all updated. Talk to you soon.

It is official...

My hubby got the job and we will be moving to Indiana. Moving day is scheduled for this coming Thursday after I get off of work. We are actually going to Tennessee first and once we find a place in Indiana we will be heading there. My mom is excited, because we don't get to see each other much. So we will be making up for some lost time. We have been packing for the last couple of weeks so there is not much left to do. So I will be off line for a little while, or at least until I can get some internet at my mom's. Take care everyone, and wish us luck. Will talk to you soon!!!!

I sooooooooooooooo need a vacation!!!!!!!!!! My baby turned 18 Saturday. My hubby got a job interview (he is there now). If he gets this job, we will be moving to Indiana. We (the boys and me) are still planning to go to my parents in Tennesse for a few months until we have some money saved up and as I said, if my hubby gets the job, then we will move to Indiana. I had 4 days off this past weekend, and spent the time cleaning, doing laundry and packing. I am sooooo tired. Today started off kinda crappy. I already knew I was going to be late getting to work because I had to take hubby to the airport. I hate being late to anything...almost to the point of having a full blown panic attack if I am late. So I was ok knowing that I would be atleast 1/2 hr late getting to work. No big deal. So the moring starts off....the hubby blasting into the bedroom, "Honey!!!! You forgot to set the alarm clock!!!". It was 6:30...meaning Ryan, our youngest has missed his bus. Ok no biggie we will take him to school on our way to the airport. Get up get ready for work, take Mike (our newly turned 18 yr old) to the bus stop and go back home. We finally leave the house at 9:30, get Ryan dropped off at school, start head to the airport (which by the way is an hour away) and my hubby yells, "Sh**!!!" I ask him what is wrong, now fully awake, and he says I forgot to claim my weeks for unemployment and it has to be done before 12. So guess what that means....we head back to the house. We get back home and it is almost 10:00 and the website is moving at a snails pace and finally we leave the house at 10:30. By this time I am freaking out because I had already called my boss and told him I would be at work no later than 10:30. Panic doesn't set in until we get into the car. I don't know how we did it but we made it to the airport in 45 min. And I made it to work at 11:30. I ended up getting the hic-ups and had them for the whole trip to the airport. Oh and on the way there, I called my Aunt, who was supposed to be on her way to my house, and who I spent the weekend cleaning my house for, and she tells me she won't be here until tomorrow. Which then added to my so called hic-uping panic attack. My hubby the whole time laughing at me. So now I am ready for a vacation. There is much more I could have told you about today, but I am going to spare all of you wonderful people the gory in between details that also didn't help with the onset of said panic attack. Besides the fact that I am tired and need to go to bed. But before I go I will tell you that as of April 30 I will be off line until I get internet set up at my parents. Hopefully it won't be for to long.

Tons of stuff going on still. Hubby is still job hunting and just had an interview this week down in Key West. We drove down and back in one day. I am still trying to recover....lol Anyways, I had the day off today for Good Friday and was able to get my Easter kit done. And I also have a little surprise....all my kits are going to be for free for now until after we figure out what we are going to be doing. Well we still don't know if my hubby got the job or not. And it is wearing us pretty thin. I keep telling myself to keep the faith, but it is not working. It is really hard to see him so depressed. Hopefully we will find out tomorrow. He has had his interview which went really well, they had him go to their HR department last Tuesday and fill all kinds of paper work, but still nothing. He seems to think he didn't get it. But I can't see how they would make him go through all the trouble and expense to fill out paperwork for background check and such if they weren't going to hire him. Especially since they said they weren't going to interview anyone else. It is so frustrating not knowing what is going on. We feel like we are stuck in purgatory. I am afraid though that if he doesn't not get this job, we are going to have to move in with my parents for a while or with his dad. And that is just something we do not want to do. But money is very tight and we will be lucky to make rent next month. I just want to scream....but I won't. I will keep doing what I have been and that is keep a good outlook on things and keep reminding my hubby and myself that God will help us, get us through this. At least I pray so.

Ok enough of my whining. I have a new kit ready. Enjoy.

Keep your fingers, toes and whatever else you can cross, crossed. Three days after Christmas my hubby was laid off of work and it has only been me working. With the way the economy has been, it has been very difficult for him to find a job. Friday he got a phone call asking him to come to an interview on Saturday which went really well. I don't want to jinx it, but we are supposed to find out tomorrow. If he does get it, then we will be moving. I am excited, anxious, and nervous. We have been waiting for some good news for a long time. Also, this means if he gets this job, then I will be able to stay home and work on my scrapbooking more and get more stuff up to sell. So please say a prayer for us. In the mean time I do have a new kit ready for purchase and a freebie. I hope you enjoy them.

Be very, very quite. I am just trying to sneek in to do a little re-modeling without making a lot of noise. I am so sorry I haven't been around since like November or something like that. I have been doing alot of creating because for those of you who follow my blog may have already read that I am getting ready to start selling my designs. I didn't realize how long it takes to get things ready. And this blogger thing....well lets just say my computer is very lucky I didn't take out my anger on it. It took me forever to figure out how to get my blogger back (thanks Nicole) up and running. I tried to make my own and it was really cool, but when I uploaded it, it looked like crap. So I decided to use one of Nicole Youngs over at DSP. Thank you Nicole!!!! The little cloud is hers also from her StoryBook kit. The winged heart is mine. Ok so please excuse the mess around here. I still have a lot to do. I am getting rid of a ton of stuff on here and add a bunch of new stuff. Don't worry my freebie junkies I will have something for you too. Ok gotta run. I am still here in case anyone was wondering...lol
A few things:
1) We went to my parents for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. The drive home was horrible though. There were 16 accidents within a 5 mile stretch of road. Hubby said we went 300 miles never getting above 45 miles an hr. We stopped by my brothers on the way home, he lives 3 1/2 hrs from us and it was on the way so we decided to stop. I so needed to get out of that car...lol.
2) I am still trying to get things situated for the new blog and some new kits made. It is going way to slow.
3) I just celebrated my birthday on Saturday...Happy Birthday to Me!!!!
and......
4) My hubby and I just celebrated our 12th anniversary Sunday.

Also, I am soooooo disappointed....We went to see "Twilight". I have read all 4 books and fell in love....so I was so hoping that the movie would at least have some of the passion that the books had and nope. I felt like I was watching a B movie. Some parts were good but they took away way to much of good parts of the book that I think would have made the movie so much better. Anyway that is just my opinion. I do hope that the next movie will be better. I am glad I read the books first.

Hmmmmmmmmmm.......

Ok....well things are getting off to a really slow start. I am not sure now how soon I will have my new blog up. I am working on about 20 things at one time and I am getting burned out. I am asking Santa for more time to work on my designing this year...lol No worries though...what will probably happen is that I will schedule an open date for the 1st of the year. And start the new year off right. Which also means that I will probably not have any new freebies up until then either. This is taking way much longer than I thought it would. I have a new respect for those of you who open up shop. Also, next week I will be closing down for four days do to the fact that we are heading to my parents for Thanksgiving. We are leaving Wednesday night and coming back Sunday. They live in Tennessee. It is going to be cold...brrrrrrr!!! But I am going to love getting away for a little while. My mom and I will also be celebrating our birthdays. Hers is Dec. 1st and mine is the 6th. So since we will be together we decided to have a party. So I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving!!!

Announcement...this is huge!!!!!

Ok I have a major announcement. And the way I came about my decision to do this is really out there, but here it is. Thursday while at work I read my horoscope. It told me that I needed to make a decision about something I have been contemplating on doing for a long time now and it would mean bringing in some extra money. It also said that I would succeed if I my decision was to follow through. And then this morning my hubby, who I didn't even mention my horoscope to, brought up the idea and now I have made a decision. I have decided to start selling my designs. We really need the extra money and I think my designs are good enough to do so. So over the next few days or however long it takes I will be converting my blog. I have decided to just sell right from my blog for now. Maybe sometime in the future I will join a store but for now and until I get the hang of things I will just do this from my blog. And don't worry...I will still be offering things for free. I so appreciate all of my followers and loyal blog readers and I hope that this does not deter you away from my blog. I love all of you and it would break my heart to see you go away. So please bare with me as I make this change.

Just stopping in to wish everyone a very safe and happy Halloween. Not sure what we are planning since our original plan to head down to Orlando has been canceled. Since my boys are a little to old to be trick or treating, we were going to take them to the Halloween Horror night down at Universal Studios. It is only a 2 1/2 hr trip from our house and we thought we would just spend the night and come home tomorrow. But, thanks to my hubby's not so wonderful boss, who we are still waiting for him to sign my hubby's vacation papers, didn't. And so we don't know what we are going to do. I didn't buy any candy to give out because I thought we were going to be gone. I guess I will just go to Blockbuster and rent some scary movies and buy some popcorn and veg in front of the tube tonight. Mikey is going somewhere with his new girl friend and Ryan doesn't have any plans so it looks to be a boring night. Oh yeah....I took today off from work also because I thought we were leaving....a day without pay and no fun or play really SUCKS!!!!! Ok....lol
Well I did get my bedroom carpet cleaned, and I voted. Now I am going to go get my hair trimmed and Ryan (I let him stay home today) is getting his done too. And I think while I am at it I will get my brows waxed. They are looking pretty scary. Ok well I am going now.

I just realized that I have just past 100,000 visitors. And since it happens to coincide with Halloween, I think I will go ahead and give you your Halloween treat early. I am calling this one Halloweenies. I was going to wait until the day of Halloween but I am too excited. This is a huge kit in the way of there are a ton of elements. Some are not shown on the preview. I only made 12 papers though. I wanted to give you more elements to play with. I also revamped some of my old Halloween papers and elements to add in this kit. Boo on You!!! (a little venting going on) & A Freebie

Whatever is my response...lol I really don't need to explain myself but I will. And I this is not up for discussion so don't even try. My son Mike, who will be turning 18 in a few months has been hounding his dad and I for I know 5 years to let him get a tattoo. We have always told him that when he turned 18 that we would not fight it and he could go ahead and get one, hell I even told him I would take him. We also told him that this was something that he would have to live with forever, that it would be painfull and that it costs more to have it removed then to have it done. He is fully aware of the ramifications of this decision. His dad not really thrilled about it but decided that you know what it is his body and as long as it isn't something pornographic, demonic etc... he could live with the decision. Personally, I don't mind so much because I am one of those mom's who believe in self expression. I am an artist, that is just how my brain is wired to work. I do have my limitations, but for this I am ok with it, hell I have even thought of getting one myself. And how can I tell my son no, to something that I want for myself. So anyways, I have heard so much crap, that I am tired of it already. You know it could be worse, he could be doing drugs, not getting straight A's in school, or not have any goals in life. My son is a great kid, and I am very lucky that God graced me with him. So for those of you parents out there who want to critize me for letting my son express himself, then screw you!!!! We don't need you or your jealousy. By the way, we decided to go ahead and let him get it early. I got to help pick it out of course and I think it turned out great. Take a look....it's not so bad.
